Because seagrass, while a popular choice for eco-friendly flooring, does not provide much grip, it is not advisable to use this natural flooring option on stairs.

Acclimatisation

This provides the flooring adequate time to acclimate to the ambient atmospheric conditions prior to installation.

Similar to Coir and Sisal, Seagrass is a type of eco-friendly flooring that can be relatively unstable. Consequently, it should be installed on an underlay that ensures it is fully adhered to the sub-floor, thereby preventing any movement once fitted. This makes Seagrass a great option for those looking for natural flooring solutions.

Care & Maintenance

Any liquid spills can be challenging to remove, as seagrass, an eco-friendly flooring option, is a naturally absorbent material. Regular vacuuming should be sufficient to maintain the cleanliness of this natural flooring.
